We are a digital marketing firm who hires freelance blog writers to write regularly for our clients. We are looking for writers who can write accurate, compelling content!
Our ideal blog writers know how to write succinctly and use active voice. Our ideal writers will have some experience with blog writing and a background in journalism, public relations, marketing or communications.
We need writers who can:
- Research topics, find a topic angle and write accurately, yet informally
- Adopt the unique voice of the client
- Understand the difference between blog writing and other forms of writing
- Write conversationally and engage the reader
- Meet weekly deadlines
- Are native English speakers
- Have some basic knowledge of best SEO practices such as using keyword phrases and subheadings
- Understand how to format an article for readability such as avoiding long sentences and paragraphs, and using bold font and bulleted or numbered lists to break up large blocks of text.
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
- Copywriting experience is a plus
